Vision and Mission

Sri Swati Tirunal Sangita Sabha in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, South India,  established to encourage the study and practice of Indian Music, to foster espirit-de-corps amoung musicians, to co-operate with other Sangita Sabhas and other Cultural Organisations of similar interest.

Activities:

• Holding conferences nad seminars

• Arranging demonstrations, lectures, dramas, dance, ricitals and music concerts

• Celebrating festivals in honour of great musicians and composers.

• Publishing journal

• Carrying on similar activities in furtherance of the objects of the Sabha

• Administration of the Sri Karthika Tirunal Theatre.

• Every year, the prestigious Gayakaratnam Award is presented to a deserving music artist
